Victoria’s Secret may be onto something when enlisting Mikael Jansson to photograph their campaign imagery. The partnership began in 2023 when the Swedish fashion photographer was called upon as the original VS Angels (including Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel) reunited for the Victoria’s Secret Icon campaign. Jansson was rehired to lens the imagery for the American lingerie retailer’s “Body by Victoria” collection and is back once again, this time for the Summer 2024 season. Stylist Emmanuelle Alt joins the team, as we’re whisked off to a tropical destination for a series of sun-soaked images. Gigi Hadid, Paloma Elsesser, Emily Ratajkowski and Tina Kunakey hit the beach and roam the surrounding areas throughout the campaign, ultimately making us want to book a summer getaway stat.

Mikael Jansson’s photograph of Gigi on her knees in the sand is gorgeous, as is the shot of Emily with the palm leaf. The coloring and Jansson’s lighting are both lovely, and I can definitely spot some of Emmanuelle Alt’s signature styling throughout. A thumbs up from me!” approved vogue28.
